She needs to be back...She is speaking wisdom and intelligence. I agree with her that we need a psychiatrist to evaluate these politicians. I think some of them needs meds.
@lekis59752 ай бұрын
@jshukran3925 Don't wait for her to come back, go to her KZbin platfrom; MAISHA KAZINI. She has very insightful conversations and monologues. The conversations she has with Mordecai Ogada are *chef's kiss*. Mordecai Ogada is the co-author of THE BIG CONSERVATION LIE. Him (and his co-author) Mbaria wa Mbaria were on Lynn Ngugi's show the other day, deconstructing how our Govt is colluding with West to sell the country; the minerals, the flora and fauna (herbs etc).

This should be emulated by all gen z podcasts,I salute you guys and i echo the professor, change a culture and you will change a generation. I am a millenial and this culture of worshipping politicians who are the cause of our problems is what angers me the most. I advocate for gen z to first learn our history inorder to understand why we are in this situation. Armed with this knowledge you can remove this stealing is right, mheshimiwa mungu,kanisa hypocrisy and fear of questioning mentally. An educated action taker is a generational change maker. #NoToImpunity

I'm so pleased to see the youth waking up and embracing Pan Africanism. Kenyans must embrace the notion of IDEAS, Politics driven by IDEOLOGY not PERSONALITY. *We must make INTELLECTUALISM sexy* . Kenyans are only good at passing exams, but not grappling with ideas. The time of using applying logic to build a better society is NOW.

I greatly concur with professor. I have learnt this from a bishop in Nigeria that It's only in the values that we can have personal responsibility to look out for and manage resources accountably. The revolution on values will be the most effect - you can see the infiltration of goons in a JUST course.

About extraordinary clergymen, do not forget the brave men like Cardinal Otunga, Archbishop Mwana a Nzeki, Fr Gabriel Dolan, Fr Kaiser, Bishop Henry Okullu. We would have fallen apart without these extraordinary souls, together with Rev. Tim Njoya and others. By the way guys, please bring Raila on the show to talk about organising and detention and finding strength to dream when he came out and saw that the country was in depression. And bring in another youthful philosopher like Joe Kobuthi, and a philosopher like Antoinette Kankidi of Strathmore, and also Canon Francis Omondi who is a great-minded clergyman who can explain what is our spiritual character. And certainly, please bring Mordecai Ogada whom Prof spoke about. He will grow our mind.

One of the best episodes i have watched on your channel. Keep it up and that point on mindset keeps me thinking. Maybe it starts with our ‘christian names’ and the need to be like the white man
@lekis59752 ай бұрын
@Chisabari-ko5ku Absolutely, it starts with our names, in essence the LOSS OF OUR CULTURE. African culture emphasised ACCOUNTABILITY at the PERSONAL level and COMMUNAL RESPONSIBILITY; Utu ni Mtu or the spirit of UbuNtu. They brainwashed us, imposed their CULTURE on us; Religion, legal, political and economic (CAPITALISM) system, education. And ever since, we have been looking at the world through FOREIGN EYES, devoid of VALUES that speak to us.

Well said. IMF has been squeezing our cajones sinces the 80s! Walikataa kupea serikali pesa in the 80s because tulikuwa tunasoma too much. Serikali ikakosa pesa za kusomesha students mpaka university, waka invent 8-4-4. From 3 subjects, students had to take 10 subjects, and gain a B- to go to university and Maths and 3 sciences were compulsory. They knew Maths na Science was going to drop students grades and only 10,000 would qualify to go to University. Imagine! In the UK a student can study LAW at OXFORD or CAMBRIDGE without having to take 'A' Level Maths/Chem/Bio/Physics, lakini in Kenya, it's compulsory for students to take Maths and 2 Sciences, this has made university entrance so tough and demoralised students. What the govt has done t the youth due to the Western interference is sad.

Sankara decreed all Ministers must travel in ECONOMY CLASS, after all when the plane landed, they'd all land at the same time as the people in 1st class. When they attended a meeting in Washington DC, him and his ministers shared rooms, some slept in sleeping bags on the floor!!!! He used to drive a FIAT, not a PEUGEOT; fiats were very cheap- the peoples car. The current Burkinabe president, Capt. Ibrahim Traore is a SANKARIST, his chief adviser, the Prime Minister, Apollinaire Joachim Kyélem de Tambèla is a lawyer, pan-Africanist, writer and avowed SANKARIST. Sankara did not die, he multiplied.
