Any tips for bad angle shots and net drives they get me alot in mens league

Understanding that angle is more important than depth, is key on bad angle shots. Remember, the net is smaller to the puck on a bad angle, so you don’t need to be out as far and really just need to be on angle. As for the net drives, I assume you mean where they take it across the front of the crease from the bad angle? In that situation, I rely on my pushing ability to get me across. And I have sharp edges so I can cut back and change direction pretty easily with minimal effort However if you don’t have that strong of push you can do a couple things. You can do two pushes to get across, or if you’re bigger and you can get back to the post you can use the post as leverage. I would also recommend sharpening your skates more regularly and making sure you sharpen them sharp enough to allow that bite for stronger pushes. Sorry for the book lol

I’m 5’6” and I wear a 32+1 and they honestly are a bit tall on me with the way I strap them
