@@80steen44 I honestly can't put a lot of that on Mitch. Bad play calling, poor offensive line play, and way too many dropped passes. If receivers make some of those catches it's a different story.

@@lesdoodis121 Mitch in the first month, once in a while did run, did scramble and did stand in the pocket to take a hit while delivering a pass. But he didn't do any of those things enough. He did all of that more in one half vs TB than he did in 3.5 games. Had he played more loose he would have never have been benched. Plus, let's not forget his best play before the TB game was way back on opening day, in OT but on a free play and his longest play vs Tampa was while there was confusion on Tampa's part thrying to figure out which 12th man to get off the field. I personally like Trubisky okay. He is what I call a darn good backup and a solid starter if everything else is going right. Unfortunately for us we aren't dominant all around. We have nothing to gain by sticking with him again. He's not the long term answer either this season or next.

I totally agree. Kudos to mitch! And yeah he was not playing scared like he was playing in the beginning of the season. He was playing like he had nothing to lose and looked a hell of a lot better!! A total 180 from earlier in the season.

I agree that we need more film like this indeed. The angles and sounds definitely is more realistic than anything we see on Sunday! Like this is ground level full speed action and the grunting from contact was reminiscent of the old school days. Wish every game was this good.

If you look at our versions of micd up vs the rest of the league narrator wise we elite but player audio is not an even mix. Scored a opening drive TD… haven’t done that since last season… he also played extremely well when the playcalls were aggressive like the first drive. Not Kenny’s fault that Canada wants to run jet sweeps and lose the offense 10 yards.

It took 6 weeks to get WR touchdown! Basically 24 quarters of football played, why? Took 5 weeks before an opening drive netted points and it wasn't Mitch that did it, took 6 weeks for an opening drive to net a touchdown! But Mitch is better? @@RANS87IROCZ go look at kenny tape. He only has one read. Thats Pickens. Omce tampa bay see that kenny was done. If his first read isn't there he throws it high and away. He has no control. He always throw high even to johnson. Johnson isn't tall as Pickens or claypool or muth. Those high passes will lead to interceptions. He has 3 in 2 games. Dude did nothing in college until his 5th year..... playing against sophomores and freshman. He did nothing against Clemson or Miami or WV or any descent school until his 5th year. For the middle 3 yrs he had 13 tds. And 9 interceptions. No growth until his 5th year...... do that make sense? If so, how?

@@luboi386 I'm watching what they've done this year, from preseason till now but honestly Mitch has struggled to even convert 3rd downs until last game, he was money Mitch come last Sunday, and going by that performance he looked beyond worthy of being a starter QB no doubt? But to say who's better? Hard to say because Mitch had chances in Chicago and well he has fans and critics there also. I do like Mitch and it's hard for me to say? But my opinion so far is Kenny lit a fire under him to do better and not hold back and that's what happened when he came off the bench Sunday

7:31 The comments after that play makes absolutely ZERO sense. One announcer says, “George Pickins ‘come back, catch”. And the other announcer is screaming how Mitch threw a beautiful ball. How the hell did he throw a beautiful ball if George had to hit the breaks and come back to catch the ball. You can’t call a botched short pass a beautifully thrown ball. You just can’t. If it was so beautifully thrown, he would have hit George in stride.
