the mic seems to have auto balance or something suppressing loud sounds maybe it's something you change somehow?

The mic is from maybesta, the link is in the description if you are wondering, but no I’m pretty theres no options to adjust the sensitivity on the mic. The mic has a noise reduction feature that cancels out unwanted noise like wind noise. I just have to play around with the closeness of the mic to exhaust.
