Sometimes I wish music would reset to this amount of creativity. That would tickle the life back into us as inhabitants of this planet. This concept can be adapted with each of us writing our parts. Beautiful band!

@@jaredwhite571 I like the way you worded that, for real though love coming back to these gems that just sound like nothing else you've ever heard before, in my opinion the music industry just expanded with all this streaming stuff, artist locked into contracts only ever releasing safe (what's currently popular) music instead of taking a gamble! I'm sure there is more awesome talent out now or round the corner, we just gotta look harder these days ;)

@@Victimless.Crime.Recordings You get it…I’m optimistic that there are others, as well. Surely, we all are collectively gaining confidence toward exaltation of quality music and the arts, once again. Maybe creativity will win. Thanks for your words!

I discovered Mica Levi because I was blown away by the “Jackie” soundtrack. The more I find about her, the more I am so so impressed.
@Zenene-ok5el6 жыл бұрын
Her soundtrack for "Under the Skin" is one of my favorites, as is "Jackie"'s, too! She's such a multifaceted artist, I don't know whether or not I would desire her all the fame I know she deserves or the prosperity and creative freedom of being a moderately niche artist.

+Jesterminutesir the lead singer/creator of the band is also a classically trained composer "While a student at Guildhall, Levi was commissioned to write an orchestral piece for the London Philharmonic Orchestra which was performed at the Royal Festival Hall in April 2008.[1" and also has scored soundtracks and nominated for the 2015 BAFTA Award for Best Film Music definitely not the case of incompetence...they are expanding the constraints of music

(Not the best translation of the description but you get the picture.) The British art -pop trio Micachu & The Shapes knows a triumph with their experimental sounds, her dancing electro, and titles to complex structures. The young prodigy Mica Levi tinkers musical instruments from everything and anything: a vacuum cleaner , a tower of CDs, a broken bottle ... That's exactly what it takes to produce a trio " rebel " . After touring the US with Animal Collective , they presented their new album Never in on3 Festival. Their concert is a first in Bavaria. The site Spiegel Online predicts a bright future for Micachu & The Shapes : " On the way to the top floor ."
