HOT TAKE: Carter is the Dark Horse DPotY this year... yes, PLAYER, not just Rookie. A player getting AD comparisons, who's going to a team he's intimately familiar with (Georgia defensive teammates), which a phenomenal culture to keep him on the straight and narrow, on a team with a STACKED supporting cast on the D-Line (aka, he's getting a lot of 1-on-1's whether the opponents can handle it or not), AND he's got a Jalen Hurts offense, meaning the opponents are gonna be in a lot of pass heavy situations. When you put it that way, it's hard to think a healthy Carter doing 10+ sacks and DRotY is all that unreasonable.
