@Bsweeney8t35 жыл бұрын
Brilliant. I remember at one point Richards was probably a more talented prospect than Kompany, but this explains why one ended up a legend and one didnt. It probably explains why City havent been as good this season - lack of leadership amongst the players. It also probably explains the big problem at Man Utd atm, having no Kompany/Keane/Ferdinand/Rooney type player to instill discilpline to the players, who at the end of the day are just big indisciplined kids.

I can empathise with Vincent Kompany not giving his colleagues a second chance with fines.. they are overpaid anyways and a couple thousand grand may not mean much to them, but means more to the ground staff and charity.. This tells why Micah was sent to many clubs and lost his place to new comers. Looks like he is less mature to be a leader. I had a lot of expectation when he first broke in to the first team. Even scoring that last minute goal agains Villa in FA cup. He become England's right back, then he regressed after 2 decent seasons. I know injuries could be excuses but this tells his persona. He is kind of laid back lad. Still love him so much for his banter and honesty, but retiring at 31 for right back is very premature having watched the likes of Zanetti and Maldini played until thier 40's. I wish him all best for his future.

Who’s the other berk? “I don’t think I’d take kindly to being fined, I”m a grown man.” It’s the same as anything they get fined because they don’t act like grown men and break the rules. Then again if an ordinary person is late for work part of their money get’s stopped. It’s the same thing so I don’t know what planet he’s on. Though because they are astronomically paid the fines are meaningless to them. It’s like an ordinary person being fined 50p.
