I find the fact that Micheal is an animatronic really interesting becuase depending on which theory this series is based on, Mike could have died at one point. We really dont know yet. What I think is going on based on everything that happened is that in this series it follows the theory that the Afton family consists of William, his Wife, Mike, and Circus Baby/Elizabeth. We also know that Elizabeth was alive at some point before she died and we know this based on the journal entries left by Afton when he talked about losing a daughter. The fact that Elizabeth was alive is what makes me wonder whether or not Mike may have been human at one point. There is also the possibility that Mike is like Charlie and he was never alive to begin with (as far as I know, in the books Charile wasn't ever alive). Either way Mike being an animatronic made this get really interesting. Thank you for coming to my TED talk. I'm probably looking too far into this like I always do lol.

maybe, but henry had a child called charlie, she died and possessed the puppet at a very young age, henry couldnt stand that, so built the C.H.A.R.L.I.E humanoid robot in her place, he had multiple for each stage of her life and had fake memories implanted into her, so yes she was alive, but robot charlie doesnt possess a soul, only memories that give the robot morality and feeling, without being aware she was a robot, probably the same thing going on. also in the books, like all the animatronics steal the identity of another or have human parts in them......... (and i'm rambling) :D

This is a great time for a sum up of my Theory xD. The concept that Michael (Mike) is an animatronic makes this series that much more interesting, because if you flashback all the way to the first episode, you would wonder now how he had those clothes on before, and then with the security gaurd outfit it tears easily and with his suit itself, making it really susp. Throughout the series nothing too bad happens to Mike, like bleeding or possible almost death. He is stabbed and somewhat battered around quite abit, and then the next day hes perfectly fine. That leads to some people having questions. But what everyone now is overlooking is, how did Mike get sick in that one video? Animatronic dont get sick, they cant get sick. Viruses dont make you cough and sneeze either, because they're for electronics and robotics. So that leads you to another theory: was Mike a human from that video before and maybe a little bit longer? Did William have robotic models of Muke while he was growing up? And if so, was William aware that they'd find that underground room, and just decide to confuse them saying, the son I never had? But if this is true, when did Mike become an animatronic? Maybe he was a human up until after the Ennard incident? If so, that would explain why Ennard didnt try to go into Mike. It still would raise questions on why he tried to stuff Mike into a spring bonnie suit though. Was Ennard sent by William to make his son feel how he did? Didnt Ennard want out of the SL? It's still a bit weird how Mike couldve most likely became an animatronic though. Since hes living in the pizzeria currently, it would be a bit difficult for William to walk in, get Mike, walk out and back to wherever he couldve most likely been or still be, kill him (put his consciousness or some other nonsense) and make him become an exact replica of himself as an animatronic, then bring him back to the pizzeria and then leave again without at least bidybab or bonnie knowing. (I say Bonnie or Bidybab because they're the most alert out of them all and they know what they're doing more then the others do). But if he became an animatronic before he was living in the pizzeria, it would make a bit more sense for William to be able to do that. So to conclude this, I will have to say that this is my theory, that Mike was a human, but at one point he became an animatronic. I'm sorry yall had to read this TED talk, I needed to get this off my chest because it's too much of a theory to keep to myself.

Well Mike is an animatronic in the games too. You ever notice to rather strange detail of how in 1,2,3 and sister location when your character dies the screen turns to static? But in 4 and Pizzaria Simulator it doesn't. It's why he didn't die at the end of SL custom night, he was never alive in the first place.
