Michael Ammar is one of the greatest magicians in the world today. I've been fortunate enough to see him perform in-person and meet him. He's a great person too.

Michael lectured for our magic club (Louisville Magic Club) a few years ago and it was one of the best lectures we've ever had. He spent a lot of time after the lecture chatting with the members, signing autographs, taking pictures and answering any questions we had. He's been one of my favorite magicians and I perform a lot of his effects in my own presentations. An outstanding magician and wonderful person

I was about 16 when this first aired...this is the first time I've seen it since then, but I've always remembered the card trick. I think it's the first magic trick I ever saw, and it's one of a handful of moments from the Carson era that I remember clearly.

Thank you for teaching me the basics of magic Michael Ammar. Without your easy to master card miracle series (all 9), money miracles, and icebreakers - idk if I’d be doing magic today. Plus I still use a lot of those routines to this very day. Thank you sir 🙏🏻 One of the greatest ever. This performance is incredible!

An amazing performance with most of Mister Ammar’s classics. Perfect routining, perfect sense of timing and great technique. But most of all, Michael Ammar entertains and creates a real connection with Mr Carson and the audience. A true Master.

He’s who I really learned my basics from at 10. I burned up VHS tapes in his Easy to Master Card and coin series. Those 15-16 DVD’s alone (along with Icebreakers) will give any magician enough material for paid gigs, and the hardest tricks to learn take a month tops apart from a select few that do require subtleties and impeccable timing. Without Michael Ammar, I wouldn’t own the books I do. I owe my magic career to this man.

Michael, that was absolutely brilliant. I met you years ago at the Browsers den of magic annual bash, and I have a picture of you and I or you’re pointing your finger at me and smiling. I got to know you through studying some of the work of Dai Vernon, rated purchase is complete video set where he’s being interviewed by yourself and you’re sharing magic techniques. I also purchased the small hand from your wife Wayback win. I don’t think it was actually commercially for sale, and it’s one of my best effects. So thanks for all the years of entertainment…you’re still the best.

Ammar is the real deal magician. He's got the skills, the creativity, is funny and so entertaining to watch. He makes it look easy but there's only a couple of handfuls of magicians in the world up to his standard. There are levels to this s**t :).

Somebody asked me the other day who's my favourite magician and I replied Michael Ammar. Good job. I think he coined (excuse the pun) the phrase: "Is it possible to pass a ball?"

Ok. As a magician who learned from Ammar, I must have missed the levitation. How does that work? That’s the best up close levitation I’ve ever seen bar none (and I’d consider myself well studied. 30+ years of reading, VHS, DVD, instant download, purchases, inventions of gimmicks and sleights) and everything I saw defeats any theories. If any magicians know, please explain it to me. The rest I know, including that last ridiculously hard and deceptive trick

Hes a bit difficult to find, but Eugene Burger is also a great one. Him and Ricky Jay both influenced my slight of hand magic a lot. Of course Ammar did as well, but the other 2 were a bigger influence. Vary good choices of masters you chose as well.

Everybody's first reaction to Michael Ammar is the same "Very dull but he's the magician other magicians say were supposed to learn from so...ok" The problem with magic is theirs only four people in it so how do you know what's good and what's great??? When it comes to Misdirection and presentation their is nothing to learn from this man. This also applies to McBride, Burger and countless others. Ammar has been successful at marketing himself as a teacher to young magicians....that's all.
