This is absolutely the best breakdown of the Texas Tommy I've ever seen. Your clarification about this being an outside turn led by the right arm is solid gold. My TTs will never be the same again. Thank you.

Thanks so much for saying so. The Texas Tommy is such a tough move and it can be so intimidating for both Leaders and Followers. But once you get it smooth, it may become your favorite move. Good luck and we are so happy to hear that it’s helpful!

Hey guys, I just started with Lindy Hop in January and it was the best decision of the last months 😍 And your videos don‘t feel like „ woah I can never do this“ but rather like „woah it‘s 7am and I‘m in my pyjamas and I wanna do this RIGHT NOW“ - thanks for making it look so fun and accessible! ❤️ Sunny greetings from Cologne! ☀️

Yeah Inga, that’s wonderful! That’s exactly what we hoped it would feel like. Thanks for validating our hopes! And welcome to this fantastic dance!

Oh do I miss partner dancing! We’re learning The Big Apple through zoom classes, and when we’re done we’re going to have an outdoor, masked, no touching performance together!

We miss it too! And what a great routine to be learning, esp. at this time. Good luck and stay safe ;-)

Nice. We did the Big Apple during our last online period, too.
