Her mistake was acting like they were "Buddies." When you know someone from childhood, make sure the memories are fond - and fun. Not when you were making fun of that person. If I were in her shoes, I wouldn't have said anything about going waay back. That was 25 years ago now fast forward that dude went to prison for life their son is in a gang doing nothing with his life , and she came to my job where I was a supervisor at a marketing company looking for work . Who do u think was picked to do her Interview ? Me lol now was I biased to what she did to me absolutely not I'm grown I would have hired her is she was qualified but she was not so I did not . She thought I turned her down for the job because of the past, not at all , however it did feel good watching her walk out of that office without what she wanted . This made me cry with satisfaction. I was bullied because of my interests. I started reading at three, and never stopped. In school, I skipped several grades and was bullied for I do not even know. I had to run home, which helped me in track. I had to hide, which led me to hang out in several advanced classes teacher's classrooms, which helped me graduate at 16 years old. Those bullies killed my childhood. They are all on public assistance, drug addicts or deceased. I feel sorry for their souls. May our ancestors forgive them, as I still work towards forgiveness even after 46 years. I ask my ancestors daily to help that 9 year old me as she grew up to forgive them one day. I will never forget.

What they did to you made you stronger each day, made you worke harder and be better than they'll never be. You fought back quietly, and won.

Forgive for your soul, but never forget. Always advocate against bullies. Those demons were just jealous, ignorant and insecure.

You know who else is from Newark? Queen Latifah, imagine bullying kids trying to aim high when living in a place like Newark, people try tearing others down without realizing the potential they all have. I lived in Newark, Elizabeth, and Hillside and no one out there should be trying to hate on anyone trying to get out. Edit: little story about Queen Latifah, she is an incredibly nice person and doesn't forget her roots, my father was at an auto shop I believe and had seen Queen Latifah and this old man recognized her as the little girl who grew up in the neighborhood and asked what she was up to now, she called him Mr. so and so and told him she was just doing some acting or movies or something honestly very humble. Those human moments are just invaluable and we shouldn't put famous people on pedestals, just hope they are as good a person as you'd hope anyone would be.

I hate that people are called "corny" for being different.

“I did not say that. Misquoted for sure.” What a way to gaslight. She seems toxic. Good for him for calling her out on it though. He’s the bigger person. I don’t tolerate teasing and bullying.

I read that the headline before I saw this video and assumed his bully was a boy. It's not so bad that it's this woman but I agree that she's corny 🤣 🌽 named after hair products and he's having the last laugh now 😂

Funny thing is there's a video of her on a podcast or something and the other woman was calling him corny while she was definitely co-signing all of it.

I can't fault Michael because I would do the same thing with my bullies. There's a lesson in this. Never pick at someone in the present. You'll never know how they'll turn out in the future.

You shouldn't bully anyone regardless of what they'll become. It's like saying homeless people deserve to be spat on because they ended up "losers" anyway.

They were kids back then, I've teased a handful of kids when I was younger, because thats what kids do. Would I do it now that I'm older and wiser? No.

Not that it’s close to the same thing, but I was messed with a lot in HS for being a nerd (I looked like Arthur the Aardvark) & now I’m 6’2 220 muscle & occasionally I’ll see old classmates & it’s hilarious how they act.
