One of Bay’s best. Helped by a good screenplay that gave more than the surface premise. Best acting of any Bay film. Bay’s ability to pace it and keep the tension throughout was absolutely masterful.

movies are such a freak show now, the black guy is awful, throw in a mexican woman, a gay FBI guy, and a I guess woman or some person you cant tell what their sex is, Jake's a good actor but 2 hrs of a dumb ambulance driving around, at least i didnt pay a cent to watch this, free was a fare price for this, plus there had to be 2 or 3000 rounds of ammo fired in this so the idiot gun nuts should still love it, movies are totally weird now but i guess they do reflect the good old melting pot of america and not just a bunch of white boys running around, but i kept fast forwarding thru this movie and it was the same dumb scene of cops chasing an ambulance wouldve been funnier if it was lawyers chasing the ambulance for 2 hrs

I really loved this movie. A good high octane action movie where the action is over the top but the characters don’t completely feel invulnerable, but are still emotionally vulnerable and malleable. And even if the overall movie crosses absurdity, there are still moments of realism and depth. I thought it was pretty funny and one of those movies that could be highly quotable and I think this could end up being a Michael Bay classic. I think it’s fighting for a top 5 spot, if not a top 5 Bay film. Pure Bayhem at its finest.

And on a small budget I think that’s what makes Bay be a better director he’s forced to get creative Pain and Gain , 13 Hours and Ambulance all had low budgets and in my opinion are all good films with creative camera work.

Thrilling movie, this is material suited perfectly for Bay. He doesn’t have to worry about a bunch of stuff just have action the entire time with great actors and non-stop tension. Very enjoyable! So sad that it does so poorly at the box office, the fact that people choose frickin Sonic 2 over this is just a downer. Is not a good sign for the future. Ironic that Bays best reviewed movie (69% on rt) will most likely be his least profitable movie at the box office…

Bays back with this film this is the Bay we love. What I also liked about this film Bay didn’t use his girl actress as sex objects he had a very strong female actor here I loved her performance as the EMT. The story simple but sometimes that works I knew 30 minutes in I was loving this film there’s not one slow moment lol and all the actors did a great job.

When I saw the scene with the helicopter it reminded me of the movie swordfish when they lift a helicopter. My brother saw this when he was on the highway as they were filming this and when I saw this I was like agh I miss that. They don’t do much things like that anymore.

I just want to know how Jake Gyllenhaal's character got a full auto AR pistol, but then also doesn't know how to use it, and/or, can't afford to put sights or optics on it? I've seen 13 hours and The Rock, Bay knows how to depict gunplay. I know Gyllenhaal has been in action films. Whose big brain was struck by lightning and made the gunplay here look choreographed or blocked out by 5 year olds raised on cartoons?

Isadore single directors always have two front row seats to give away at all plays. Single directors do get an influx of goddess service in Exhange for the seat. You will never find a director - actress intimacy during the time of the play. They have too many offerings in exchange for the seat. We do that on purpose- so the actress can act- the director can direct and all needs are far acceded in between.
