This is for sure Brecker. Even in just the confirmation solo, there are so many Breckerisms

Without a doubt it's Brecker. The recording doesn't capture his sound the best, but the vocab is unmistakable.

All Good! Love the drummer!!! It is good to hear Brecker´s acoustic sound in an obviously very dead room. But it is not Michael Brecker. Not his language. Not his vibrato. But whoever it is sounds wonderful to me.

@@fabien64320 The reason it sounds like Potter is because the way the saxophone is recorded here makes it sound more rough, and so it reminds of Potter. Usually, Brecker uses better mics and better recording equipment, with more reverb and stuff. Without any of it, it sounds pretty raw. Also, the musical setting here is more traditional than is usual with Brecker. But as a saxophone player myself, having listened to Brecker hundreds, if not thousands, of hours, and even learnt some of his solos, I know all his licks and vocabulary by heart. Potter could never have played this. Period😉
