I watched the documentary "Super Duper Alice Cooper" and have gotten back into Alice Cooper again. Growing up in the 70's was so much fun. The original band was so under-rated. They were and still are amazing talent. RIP Glen Buxton.

I met him in 73 in Denver. After I blew through numerous red lights and parked a few feet away he walked over to me and asked who was driving. I said it was me. He shook my hand and said I was invited to the party. He took twenty minutes or so to mess with me because he could see I was floored at where I was. He was awesome. One of my friends said it was a shame I didn't meet Alice. All I said was yeah. However I met the guy that wrote anthems for a generation. That was epic.

Michael Bruce is more than just a great guitar player, he is a great songwriter and along with the original billion dollar babies band created the best AC music to date. When you grow up together you discover and create the organic part of the band, all of its strengths and weaknesses everything.

Nice to hear Michael Bruce in action. I am glad the band is still getting royalty checks. They deserve it. I agree. Let Alice pay the guys. They made him. AC would not have been a name if a few of us didn't have bad trips listening to Neal F------ Smith playing "Black Juju" for the 1st time. For me that was 1972.. Thank you guys for turning rock music into some thing to be kicked around like a trash can lid.

He's a cool dude, My old band The Ghosts of Silverbell got to open for his band back in 2004. Not many people showed up, but our band watched his band and I got to play his Les paul. We got to bullshittin about when they use to play with Hendrix out in down town Tucson a little ways from where we were. Then two years later I saw him again at an Alice Cooper show, He was walking to the back stage gate but they wouldn't let him in... I was kinda sad, they didn't even know how he was. Lifes a bitch

This man is so talented as was the original group...without doubt the greatest band that pop/rock ever produced. plus you can see that Bruce is a really good guy. @@geezerbill In my opinion Wagner wrote the music for two great Cooper songs: Only Woman Bleed and I love the Dead. Aside from those his main contribution was great guitar playing (and don't forget many others have also filled that role), his writing was mostly fairly mediocre. The Coop's most well-known and enduring repertoire is still to be found before the split.

Alice's creative input has always been writing lyrics and some music I understand but he never "ripped them off" Alice Cooper is a copyrighted name and the rest of the band profits nicely from his touring and albums - quite a nice set up - he does the work, they cash checks too. I grew up in Detroit and first saw Alice at high school dances (when the band wore dresses.) I saw them many times at Cobo Hall, including my last Alice show, Nightmare. Now I was even acquainted with Dick Wagner, a nice guy and awesome guitarist, and I knew of Steve Hunter, who was supposed to be the hottest guitar slinger in town at the time. Well, all I can say is the crowd was firmly planted in their seats until the last couple tunes, which were from the original band. I lost interest.

He didn't break away from the group, the record company/manager, (Shep Gordon-slime ball!) slowly distanced Alice away from the other members and only wanted HIM as the star. It's an old tactic which was done, (and still is!) by those in control, it's easier to manage ONE person than five. Alice was drinking SO much at that time and SO overworked that he just went along with it. Then the other guys started to resent the fact that they weren't part of the big picture anymore and they drifted apart.
