I was 18, had a big crush on a boy who I was also friends with. He excitedly told one evening he had met the girl he was gonna marry. (It wasn’t me btw.) I was crushed. I didn’t have a great home life at the time though my grandparents were great. I went to my room that night and sobbed. I am a very religious believer and I got down on my knees and prayed and ask God to give someone who would love only me. Two weeks later we went on a trip to see cousins. My one cousin asked me to write to this sailor friend of her big brother because her mom insisted he get mail being far from home and her boyfriend didn’t like it. I begrudgingly said ok. Long story short, this man (he was22 at the time) was who God picked for me as he had the same beliefs as me. His home was in southern New Mexico and I lived in northwest Indiana. There could not have been 2 people more different. We celebrate our 49th anniversary in November, have 2 grown children and 2 grandchildren. We have a loving relationship, are best friends and travel and have fun together. Trust God as a matchmaker. 💕

During the years of Erreway all 4 members of the band were more or less equal, with guys maybe getting a bit more attention than the girls because a lot of their fans were teenage girls, but quickly after that Luisana went on to film Casados Con Hijos, which then catapulted her into stardom, some would say even more than Rebelde Way. She was already at the peak of her popularity when the show ended in 2006, and then went on from there, so idk, it doesn't surprise me really.

Ok, this entire segment was too wholesome for me to end it with that initial comment. Michael Bublé is such a sweetheart and the fact the he wrote "Haven't Met You Yet" for her is so adorable. I have loved that song since I first heard it, and now that I know who it was made for makes it that much more loveable. I spent years, YEARS, trying to figure out if he was talking about a kid that hasn't been born yet, or a girl that he knows he will meet one day but hasn't yet, and know that I know I'm overjoyed and couldn't be more happy. I will play this for when I've met my "one." Thank you Bublé for being such an influential artist in my life, you will be forever carried on.
