When you get down to it the lyrics are about the heartbreak of splitting up with someone that you're deeply in love with and that's applicable at any age; I felt it at 27 and I know others who've felt it older than that. It's universal and that's one of the reasons why you can connect with the emotions within the lyrics. The lyrics may have been written by a teen but heartbreak is the most timeless of feelings.

I don't know why, but this one is the best male rendition of this song. It's not overly sung like with loud instruments, insane male metallic vocals, and stuff like that, This one sounds so good and classical.
