Most modern musicians and artist don’t give Buble credit for his jazz music. Most jazz lovers ravel the classics; Frank Sinatra, Jimmy Dean, and others but in my opinion Michael isn’t like them at all. Yes he follows in there foot steps and Honors there legacy, but Michael is changing the way people look at jazz. He perfectly harmonizes the relationship between the past and present and puts his own modern twist in the genre of jazz we’ve all come to love. I’ve never seen Michael in concert but I would love to one day.

I did get to see him live in concert in Minneapolis, MN. (2012?...2013...2014...2015?) I had gone through my divorce and just devoured his music. (I think I have 7 of his CDs.) He ended the show going acapella. . . No microphone. . . I was speechless!

The Best Song on the album. Very melodic, beautiful orchestration, emotional, and shows off Buble’s voice, especially that ending.

100% agree but the rendition very similar to Sinatra version especially the ending.

For me, the ending broke the intimacy; the ending did show that he can smoothly belt - but the person right next to him would not have needed that.

Sinatra’s version from late 1950s blows this away. Also his brassy version on Sinatra at the Sands from sixties.

This was my parent's "song" ... I cannot hear it without thinking of them. I've been watching Michael Buble on PBS tonight ... what an entertainer! He brings tears to my eyes with his beautiful voice and he's pretty good to look at too :) I already have some of his cds ... will have to add this one as well.

Michael...when I was a child, my parents owned an antique RCA Victrola. That box with a horn in it is where I first heard the voice of Frank Sinatra. Michael, if there is such a thing as reincarnating a voice and style, your rendition of this song just nails it! When I first listened to this song the other day on Amazon Music, I got chills! Your singing took me back to those rainy days when I would listen to Frank sing for hours. I wish you very good luck on your upcoming tour. Your fan, Ruthie.*

What a song! A short and poetic lyric. Just so simple that it is achingly beautiful. This version? A vocal masterclass showing the power of Buble's voice. A soft build to an almost operatic close! Very beautiful.

Although I really like the ending here, Sinatra was singing the last "where or when" in one 15-16 second breath up until the age of 80. Still, this is a great rendition of this lovely song.

[Verse 1] It seems we've stood and talked like this before We looked at each other in the same way then But I can't remember where or when [Verse 2] The clothes you are wearing are the clothes you wore The smile you are smiling you were smiling then But I can't remember where or when [Verse 3] Some things that happened for the first time Seem to be happening again [Verse 4] And so it seems that we have met before And laughed before, and loved before But who knows where or when

Once again a beautiful American standard is sung, but not once mention of the songwriters who composed the song. Michael Buble sang this song. But it was written by American composer Richard Rodgers, and the words were written by Mr Rodgers' then lyricist partner, Lorenz Hart. The song was written in 1934, from a shoe called Babes in Arms.. So often songwriters are left out, and singers get the mention.. There appears to be no depth in people today. Nobody seems to care about the creative process that goes into the writing of such beautiful songs that make up the Great American Songbook.
