@blackmanwhitesuit4 жыл бұрын
I'd say "lets get ready to rumble" is more iconic and is a more family friendly announcement. It sounds regal and carries a sense of importance with it. It's not something you can shout though. I feel "it's time" is the more electric announcement of the two that you and your buddies would shout out in unison. It's simpler, so it's more versatile. It's less recognizable in writing, though with no exact descriptor like "rumble".
@bellereinette29384 жыл бұрын
@@blackmanwhitesuit I feel like you can't compere them because it's two diffrent worlds and two diffrent styles I watched somthing on Michael Buffer his story growing up and how he met Bruce who became his maneger and also became the legendary announcer for the UFC and it was said that Michael's style is a glass of bordeaux and Bruce's style is (in the best way, of course) a shot of Jack Danials! but you are right about "IT'S TIME" everyone is annoucing along with Bruce at that momant!
@blackmanwhitesuit4 жыл бұрын
@@bellereinette2938/videos You say they're beyond compare, but then you set up an analogy that perfectly fits my point. Michael's line is something you enjoy listening to and Bruce's style is something you shout out with the guys in the pub. They fit their audience. I find both enjoyable.

@DjAether88 жыл бұрын
Boxing is dead? UFC is becoming a laughing stock and WWE fans are the fans of UFC. I like some of the fights but Boxing is still where its at.
@mac-8 жыл бұрын
Dj_Ezhel You can say MMA is a laughing stock if you want, but people in the mainstream media talk about it. Since Floyd retired, I haven't really heard much of anything about boxing. Boxing is getting swallowed by a more exciting sport. By the way, this is coming from someone who loves boxing and has trained in it for many years. It helped my muay thai skills a lot and I've always considered it an essential skill for anyone training MMA. The fact still stands though that boxing is done. It won't be what it was ever again because all the best athletes that would have boxed will do MMA now. Party is over for boxing whether you think MMA is a laughing stock or not. As far as the idea that WWE fans are fans of MMA, I'm sure there are some. Just like how there are some WWE fans who love boxing. But make no mistake, MMA is bigger than boxing and always will be because it has swallowed boxing. Boxing fans can love MMA and fighters that have a boxing style. Kickboxing fans can enjoy seeing the boxer get kicked in the head. Grappling fans can enjoy seeing the boxer strangled on the ground and going to sleep. the fan based for MMA is incredibly diverse wheras the boxing fanbase is just people who love boxing. That kind of dynamic can't be beat by boxing. It's marketing 101. The MMA market is way larger and the MMA product will therefore out perform thr boxing product which has a fraction of the market that MMA has. It's not hard to understand.

Ha ha! The interviewer didn't even know that Michael Buffer was announcing for UFC way before Bruce AND he's the one who GOT HIM INTO announcing for the UFC! And then he drops a bombshell about how they didn't meet until he was 49 and the interviewer just says, "Thank you". WTF??
