5:07 Did anybody also let the ring finger touching the base of inner mallets? How this work on the interval changing?

16:42 Here, when playing the Eb and Ab, Mr. Burritt is playing on the edge of the notes. Is this to allow for a quicker note change? or to match sound with the Bb in his 1 mallet.

When playing with four mallets you should always hit the edge on the black keys so you can change easier

@@iainoam2565 just an fyi, they're called accidentals... although they are the black keys on a piano.

@@kinghotcoc0 I know they're called accidentals, but since the keys are arranged the same as a piano, I and those who have taught me called them black keys since most everyone I know learnt to recognize the notes on a piano as well as their instruments. It doesn't do harm to know them as black keys

@@kinghotcoc0 They are not always accidentals. Accidentals must be outside of the key signature, so the word does not apply to sharps or flats that belong in the key of the passage.
