What a comment on today it is when we are reminded of gems such as this. I can't believe that there aren't Parkys out there now. And I refuse to believe (although admittedly I find it somewhat harder) that there isn't an equivalent calibre of entertainers. Not equal alas, but equivalent at least. It's just that the whole system's changed and we're now geared up for micro-managed three minute plugs for their latest film. And we're expected to be entertained by that. And we are. Somehow. Can you imagine a studio/agent/PR team of _any_ of today's big bucks Hollywood stars being happy to let their actor rip, unscripted, on a similar style of chat show today? One misunderstood quip and social media would blow up and the poor luvvie's career would be in tatters.

Some valid observations there & Today the Celebs/Actors are Superstars within a few months, without really doing a great deal& then we're saturated with images & info,( we know or think we know way to much about them) So there's no mystique & nothing knew to find out ( And they might not have been much from the ' Kick off' so they're over exposed ( no Pun intended for the film industry)
