One of our greats and a genuinely lovely man. He had a remarkable screen presence and was believable in everything he was in. My particular favourites of his include Zulu, The Ipcress File, Alfie, The Italian Job, Get Carter, Educating Rita and The Muppet Christmas Carol. At the grand old age of 91, he's still with us. Thanks for the memories Sir Michael ❤ 😊

I'm not a big fan of Caine as an actor but as a person he comes across as a warm, intelligent down to earth guy. The man is an inspiration in that he has never forgotten his roots. He's someone that came from a humble background in his native London and was fortunate enough to rise to stardom. If you didn't know who he was and met him in a pub you'd never guess for a second that he was a big film star. If only more celebrities were like him the world would be a slightly better place.

For me he is one of the best british actors ever. Now I heard him in original. But already in my childhood he was the origin of a british actor for me. (That was in GDR-Times.) And I love it to see him in newer films nowadays. Really Great...

I love seeing Parkinson when ever it's possible here in Finland, been a fan since I watched him interview Halle Berry and Natalie Cole a few years back. He's a great host, not boasting with his wittiness, just showing it otherwise :) And Michael Caine... He's one of those who just get better with age as an actor, and who don't take themselves too seriously. I totally admire him!

Texas accent....my Uncle Jim was 5 foot four. Not a big man in the least, from Mentone, the West Texas Panhandle where locals talk at normal speed, not slow. Uncle Jim wore his boots with high heels. Texas is so large there is more than one accent. The great state of Texas is THREE times bigger than the entire country of England.

In his new film Michael Caine plays a Texan rancher. The Americans don't trust his ability to do acccents. Michael Caine has a dialogue coach. Michael Caine could do a perfect Texan accent right from the start. In Texan, "everybody leans on each other". Michael noticed that Texans talk more slowly than other Americans. The last time he did a family movie was "Peter Pan".
