Unbelievable. I live 30 minutes away from Dayton TN. I would have walked to see this concert. I didn't know. Michael is and has been my favorite Christian artist for 35 years. I consider him to be a modern day Mozart. If this world continues on, I believe audiences will be listening to this music for hundreds of years. (And be moved by the Holy Spirit to salvation by listening.) I wish he would put together some live concerts with a full orchestra. His trilogies, overtures, and reprises are simply in a class by themselves. The way he has woven the scripture into the lyrics is also beyond any other artist, in my opinion.

Aloha from Hawaii. I just watched this concert now, about four years later, but still enjoyed it. Mahalo Michael for sharing your gift of song, music, stories, and encouragement . Blessings to you and your family.

My mind is just utterly blown by how few people are in that room. I'd really love to have the opportunity to see MC in concert, especially in such a intimate environment. I've been listening to him ever since I was a little kid.

I never get tired of listening to Michael Card. He is a good singer, but an even better songwriter. His songs are theological contemplation.

This year sitting in church the Holy Spirit brought up in my heart the nativity- as I drew closer someone handed me baby Jesus. Since then the Lord has been confirming that word over and over to me. Running across this magnificent magi- who poured out every last bit of his treasure for us to see Jesus , to be reminded once a gain of His everlasting love . Amazing, just amazing! Another note. I don't think people realize how difficult it is to recall and sing and play flawlessly songs written many years past. To sing them with the same passion that you had when they were born. Oh my oh my- thats a master. A true master - of music and art - but truly of LOVE for people- that they may hear the good news in the most breathtakingly beautiful way. What a gift. What a gift. I see. I see. Much love 💘

I totally agree with David - So few there to enjoy this gifted, brilliant Godly man who is so humble and knows the Bible like the back of his hand, and always giving God for the glory for his talent. I live in Sydney, Australia and have been so grateful to have found Michael's ministry around 35 years ago. It has enriched and encouraged me in my life. I will have the chance in eternity to thank him.

Love this - Michael Card shows such humility in his music, his style of delivery and his words. Such a gift to Christian music. I wonder how God will use him in heaven’s choir someday. I was at a concert he did in PA on retreat at a Mennonite Christian camp. He taught on the book of Job… it was so powerful in my life at that time. Hearing new songs here I’ve never heard. Loved, “How much more a servant?”

Christmas is all the richer with Michael Card's beautiful music. Every Christmas we spend Christmas at the home of one of our sons. The closest one is a 7 hour drive (plus slowdowns) away. I pop in my The Promise CD and play it over and over at least five times in each direction. Thank you!

Oh Michael, when you say, “I’ll stop”. All I can think is no, don’t stop. The words you choose to speak are wonderful and true for the heart. And the lyrics to your songs are amazingly creative and I know they are God given to you. The emotions in your voice captures the sentiment of each song…especially “Why” when you sing His love would have held him there.

He was talking about lamenting when he said that. My heart fell! NO PLEASE I NEED TO HEAR MORE. Never put it together like that before. I just thought I was being ungrateful in my suffering and pain. In fact NOT talking to him about it is driving a wedge in my prayer life. Kinda like how we greet or are greeted with a "How are you today" no one really wants to hear your problems. With a pasted smile and answer fine as we pass by. Ohhh Jesus

I first heard Michael Card in Dublin many many years ago. His music has a real message…Michael Card is a gifted song writer inspired by God. His singing is still way up there…he hasn’t lost his touch on that piano. Wish I could play like that.

We had Michael Card in our church when he visited Korea for his tour 5 years ago. We were so blessed to have him in our worship service. Still remember every song and all the hymns he sang with us. This video reminds us of that blessed moment. Thank you.

I met you in CA, and will never forget that moment. You shared about your son’s needs and I felt blessed because I work with children and I was able to speak words of support. So often, well-known folks are inundated with words of praise, but you seemed genuine and approachable and I respect that. What a gift you offer us over these decades, as you put Scripture into poetry into musical form to penetrate our hearts... as you continue to wiggle your fingers underneath the door and draw us pictures to draw us closer to Jesus. I miss your concerts. As we go through COVID as your neighbor in NC, I wish you and your family safety and peace.

story of the guitar start about 30:30 - it is a slot head (great for finger picking) and looks to be 12 frets (great of finger picking), looks smaller and thinner than a dreadnaught size - so guessing it is an OM or 000 model. looks like rosewood back and sides and a spruce top. So what? I'll share this with you - I have wanted a Martin similar to this since I first learned to play but could not afford one. This Christmas 2022 God provided one for me similar to Michael's guitar - not exact but close enough. It is flat head, 14 fret, rosewood back and sides and adirondack spruce top. And with short scale 24.5 as I wanted. It is 000 size. And it was new and about 1/2 the price of usual - because it lacked some of the expensive 'add on' features - fine with me I'm more concerned about sound rather than looks. So did God put this story in this video just for me? Probably not - but He knew it was in here and I think it was no accident I discovered it today. So I too play a guitar provided to me by a carpenter from Nazareth as Michael said of his guitar. God is good. Thank you Father. Me and this guitar will sing for you.

Color does not mater. THE Contrite Heart matters most. Therefore there is no race that matters. Yes Jesus, your Circumcised ones were your ones, cut out yet woven in...The Spirit again. The heart does matter, it never kills again. The gentiles were in clued in from the fall of your within. Your kind will never accept Her mate... again......

The circumfixed are not jewish type ones If they believe the Hope. They are and will be first. The rest lead the others in the end. US Gentiles. Us outsiders like Paul. Called in Spirit. The knock at the door.......Follow is not to open the door... it requires sacrifice.
