I thought - wow, this kid is inspired by Michael Cleveland! He plays just like him. Then I realize this WAS Michael Cleveland when he was a kid. Beautiful Go Michael!

13. Born September 18, 1980. This was his first year where he really went out on the road. Went from this to the IBMAs where he played in the Bluegrass Youth Allstars Group. That’s where Alison Krauss heard him and invited him to play with her band at the Opry and the rest is history.

As a metal head and guitarist who can't stand country you gotta admit this kid had chops when he was young and still is killing it on the fiddle/violin
@Trunchisholm Жыл бұрын
Thankfully, this is not country. It's bluegrass.
@fractuss Жыл бұрын
@@Trunchisholm Maybe a little country adjacent but yea, largely bluegrass. Country sux.
@Tasmanaut Жыл бұрын
you haven't heard good country yet. Don't worry, one day you will be drunk and Waylon Jennings will be just about the best thing you'll ever hear
@Tasmanaut Жыл бұрын
@@fractuss that is an incredibly closed minded, and frankly incorrect view.
@fractuss Жыл бұрын
@@Tasmanaut Which part? That country sux? Just an opinion mate. Certainly modern country music holds little appeal for me. After retiring I have found that one of life's great pleasures is not having to hear that song about "Daddy's Hands" ever again for example
