when i find artists i like, i very much prefer to take each body of work as it’s own thing. i don’t want to compare one album to the last, one film to the last, or a musical career to an acting one, etc. so it bothers me a little when the guys are promoting princess goes and they always get dexter questions or the article title is “dexter star micheal c hall and his indie band” as if it’s not three guys just jamming out making incredible stuff. that said, i do love dexter and the first time i heard the song i couldn’t help but hear the parallels that “the program will initiate” and “it’s best if you cooperate” have to dexter’s sort of process or ritual.

I live here and I've been trying to catch the crew filming just to get a glimpse of the atmosphere of "Dexter" but I work and by the time I find out where there filming for the day it's too late 🙃. I've been following you're career since Six Feet Under you are truly a brilliant actor and no one could ever play the character Dexter like you.
