Shortly after Pam sets a date for the wedding with Roy, in order to avoid being there, Jim announces that he is considering going on a sojourn to find himself in Australia, having entertained suggestions for places like Netherlands and Hong Kong. After Jim announces to everyone he is going to Australia, the camera cuts to Ryan who says " _Jim has the same ham and cheese sandwich everyday at lunch. If I were a betting man he will have a nice weekend in Philadelphia_ " In other words, Ryan thought Jim was a homebody, a small town bumpkin slacker who had neither the drive nor courage to travel abroad. Ryan got a lot wrong, but he was right about Jim on that count. Jim actually ended up moving to Stamford instead of going on an epic travel adventure.

Our Hooters died from a combination of: Many who visited our local factories did not want it on their business expense accounts, there were no separate rooms for group dining, it was noisy as heck due to all the televisions and sound reflecting surfaces, and the motorcycle riding groups started to fill up the place on the weekends.

At the university I went once to a strip club with a friend of a friend that I barely knew, big mistake. Lame jokes one after the other, stupid looks, he even told a story about him being part of the Formula One management team to a stripper...cringe level after an hour was approximately at 1601%. Then of course when strippers and waitresses ignored him, he made a stupid move, faking to drop his pants. We were both kicked out super quickly by the bouncer after this. Key takeaways: 1) Friends of your friends aren’t automatically friends. 2) In you’re in a strip club with a tool, after just one idiotic joke, leave. Class dismissed.
