Notice his arms are crossed in front of him for most of this song. He had been so hurt he felt the need to shield himself. No sane Christian should judge anyone that falls into sin, rather pray for such a one for restoration, so that the person will not die in his or her sin. The Homecoming group stuck with Michael but the Gospel Music industry did not. His record label dropped him because of the scandal just like they did to Sandi Patty. They hold there artist to a high standard. Michael and been to them a number of times And told them he wanted a divorce they forbid it. He was so unhappy this was the end result! Thank God for people like Vestal that supported and loved him thru the garbage. She helped Sandi Patty as well. Vestal was the Mother Superior of this group!!

I understand this song so much right now and I am so hungry and can't go on any longer. I know how the power of God has stirred in my soul when I allowed Him to have total control of my life. The feeling of being out of God's will is worse, to me, than being lost because I know how God's grace and mercy is so amazing and I never dreamed in a million years that I would stop working for the Lord but here I am , empty, hungry, longing to have this empty vessel full again and allow my precious Savior to work through me like I know I need to be doing. I have loved your music for years and I truly was broken hearted when I found out what you had to go through, but by God's grace I believe he used that to bring you back to him because that's how much he loves you! He didn't want you to miss out on eternity with him! Such a precious moment. I know how it feels to be the prodigal. I'm so grateful for the love and mercy of God! It's so good to see Michael come home. He showed such humbleness and sang the song with his heart. My favorite was when him and Vestal embraced. There was so much love and compassion. It was beautiful. God's grace is amazing and all of us would be lost without it. This July the 31st will be 28 year anniversary of being delivered from alcohol, smoking and pot. I traveled to SC last year for the GVB Reunion because in my wildest dreams I never thought I would have the privilege to meet Michael. The entire weekend was wonderful, but finally talking to and holding Michael (I am 76 yrs. old) was a dream come true. Please read his book...The Prodigal Comes Home...it will explain the emotions of so many in this video. Does anyone know if there is a video of his speaking before this is sung?
