Had the same experience as a child with ADD & no one knew what it was. I could remember music lyrics, but in school, awful grades. Also i could have been an addict, cause almost was an alcoholic before Jesus saved me. Good to hear his tesimony. Thanks Michael for being honest...

I can SO relate to his ADD. Back when I was in school it didn't have a name either. But I was just like Michael.....I would read the same paragraph or sentence 10 times and still not be able to tell you what it said bcs my mind would wander so badly. A teacher told my mother that I "wasn't living up to my potential" when I was "trying so hard", as Michael said. It hurt so bad bcs I was trying and my grades weren't great either. It made me feel like nothing. My parents never stuck up for me or had me tested bcs ADD wasn't heard of back then. I still don't like to read but I love to have someone read to me, then I retain it. I'M NOT DUMB!!! Now my life is almost over......wasted. I'm smart. I developed anxiety disorder as well, so now here I am.

My sister had a learning disability way back before anyone understood the how’s and why’s of it. She was just labeled “slow”. I’m so glad that there’s more knowledge and help today than there used to be.

Why doesn't anyone ask about his ex-wife? I am so thankful to God for what he has done in Michaels life. But I can't help but wonder how the wife he cheated on and left was doing. It seems like Michael is getting all the attention and no one mentions her. Has God restored her and healed her broken heart? Sometimes when you have been deeply hurt it is hard to watch the one who hurt you go on and be surrounded by adoreing fans and everyone is helping him, but who is helping her? As I am sure you have figured out I have been there. My prayer for her is that God has healed her and restored all she lost.
