Such a distinguished and singular talent. “Who mourns for Adonais” was far and away a stand out episode and Michael Forest made it a memory worthy of Olympus

Very kind words, Peter. I'm sure Michael would be touched by them. The best part of all is that he's such an awesome dude in person too, outshining all of the characters he's played.

I hope somebody on the cast or crew will extend to Michael our sincere appreciation as fans. He was truly amazing in the role. No one else could have done it!

Came out of retirement for a labour of love, explains his sincere & heartfelt performance in 'Pilgrim of Eternity'. Nice one Mr Farmer.

I am a friend of Mike Forest - I am waiting for his call back; I wanted to tell him what a great job he did...thought I'd never see Apollo reprised. Decades ago I told him he as well as all ST villains were considered for the films - where they went with Ricardo Montalban. I told him, it could have been him and he said, no, no. I am so happy to finally see Apollo reprised...and the man doesn't like a sci-fi, but keep that under your hat. I think he did a great job; even SANG! THUMBS UP!

I just stumbled on to the episode. My gosh he should get an academy award. The other actors were poor in those remakes but the theme of the episode and his oration were special

Late to the game but so glad I finally found STC! I think the production is brilliant and Mr. Forest did a wonderful job reprising the role of Apollo. His performance was riveting Thanks to you all and may you all "Live long and prosper" - Dave

I’ve also seen him recently on episodes of Gunsmoke and Rawhide. He made a striking image in those shows as well.

And one of the best anime voice actors ever. His Alex Rosewater in Big O was spot on, as well as Sid Gallarde from Gungrave.

Michael this is like you doing a 'Greco-Roman' play act again by having rerpised a character in the southern Italian heritage we always love to see.

This guy should attend conventions. He's an original.

Have to ask because it is kinda odd even annoying that the interviewer is not in the same room as Michael. Seems like two different interviews yet asking the same questions and being spliced together.

Was this interview done remotely? The room Echoes are different and on this video there's definitely someone in the room with him.

Close! I filmed the interview with Michael and his lovely wife (may she rest in peace) in Georgia during filming of the episode, BUT I forgot to bring along a camera to capture my part of the interview. So when I got home, I filmed my parts and edited them into the video. Totally different lighting, lens, sound quality, etc, but I thought it a wise choice at the time. Good eye!
