Michael Galea: The Sea Bream

A short spearfishing video demonstrating various catches of the sea bream (Diplodus sargus) in the Maltese waters. one can notice the various techniques used to catch this specie such as cave hunting, aspetto (waiting), agguato (ambush) and caduta (free fall). As one can notice, only the largest specimen are usually chosen to be caught out of the rest of the fish group. This is the main advantage of spearfishing over other fishing modes.
