For example, with Xscape they took out the prison-like elements (undermining the meaning of the song by doing so) and turned it into a generic party mix that doesn't match the serious vibe given off by the lyrics at all.

It's 2020, and I still see what an amazing music video could have accompanied this. Michael as a free-thinking rebel on the run from faceless, mindless guards (intentionally harkening back to the masked troopers from "Moonwalker") through a shifting, industrial-esque prison using stealth and a bit of that trademark MJ magic to overcome its automated defenses, culminating in a mass break out/dance number with liberated prisoners that literally shakes the foundation and brings the outer walls crashing down. This may the first time I actually love two versions of the same song equally. I appreciate certain aspects of the both. Like with the remix, I do like the 2014 sound, even if it's rather basic. It's just cool to hear MJ on an 808 trap-style beat. Too bad it's the only song they seem to have put any effort into. But this version is obviously superior, this is pure Michael right here. The beat, both the drums and melody, is so infectious, it's constantly stuck in my head. Honestly, this whole song is stuck in my head quite often. Definitely my favorite unreleased song and I really wish MJ had released this and made a short film for it. It wouldn't have been too out of place on Invincible, really. And it just would have been great to have a modern (at the time) take on the classic Michael sound among the track list and especially as a single. One last mind-blowing video.

En el caso de Xscape fue porque la filtraron a Internet antes de la salida del album. Pero para las demas rolas fue por desicion de sony. Recordemos que Sony boicoteo este album al full para poder joder a mike. Por eso miles de proyectos que se tenian jamas salieron a la luz. Simplemente el mismo mike lo dijo, se grabaron casi 50 rolas en las sesiones de invincible. Tambien todos los videos que jamas vieron la luz por puro pretexto de sony como Unbreakable, Invincible, Break Of Dawn, Creo que Butterflies e incluso el mismo album se iba a llamar Unbreakable, no Invincible. Sometimes I wonder if the Xscape album was made in response to the fans' backlash over Michael 2010. Especially since they gave us the original unaltered demos. It's a much more respectful tribute.

Why don't we have any demos from the main songs that made it on Invincible? Are those locked down tightly? I very badly want to learn about them. I see these demos and I'm fascinated about the process of the album- but I can't find the demos of the main songs anywhere.

These are technically only demos because they're unreleased songs that never made it to the album and were reworked and rereleased later on. If they were never reworked they'd just be unreleased songs.

@@ethanashford1 Yeah, I would imagine they were either not saved in their unfinished forms or they just never had a fully "unfinished form" to begin with. A lot of Michael's demos are songs that he sets out to finish from the start, but ends up shelving for rework later on, like Earth Song, Ghosts, Another Part of Me, etc. Earth Song and Ghosts went surprisingly unchanged, save for some vocal sections, but outside of that they both take from the "demos" pretty heavily. The Invincible album demos probably don't exist because they were recorded _for_ the album and made it _to_ the album with minimal time from "demo" to final. Earth Song was meant for Dangerous, Ghosts for MJ's Addams Family Values thing, and Another Part of Me for Captain EO, all being shelved long enough to be considered demos rather than just unfinished (or unreleased in APOM's case.)

@@ethanashford1Most of the main invincible songs don’t have a demo with MJ’s voice because all the songs except for two were given to him. The only demos you’d get from them would be writer demos. I guess the Darkchild songs have earlier instrumentals but that’s all.
