I have listened to all the leaks from first American leg 1988 and we do have the full march 5th and 40% of the 6th and i think the 6th have a lot better vocals. Better beat it (kinda flat on the 5th) sings the pre-chorus on billie jean better on the 6th and the high note in WDAN is better too. Bad and TWYMMF is more powerful and les grainy on the 6th too. These are also major songs and there fore i feel that the parts we do not have of the 6th must be better too. In conclusion i strongly believe that the mach 6th 1988 concert is MJs finest vocally based on what is leaked. Finest on bad tour too as he sings the most live in early 1988 and has the added songs 1987 did not have. Keep in mind that the early 88, shows also had the higher 1987 key for Beat it and the highest APOM and DD were before they were lowered to the European key (which atleast hapened for beat it by Minneapolis actually) Otherwise i would put my money on may 4th 1988 as Kansas is overrated and the rest of march he was sick so the first May show should be a contender if we only had Minneapolis. Never got why people liked may 6th just because it was in moonwalker. the 4th must have been better!

Great analysis!! I agree with you that Minneapolis would definitely be one of the best from the early US leg but Kansas second night is still one of my favourites to see just in terms of his hairstyle but vocal wise I agree with you

@@numberone03 yea! Also early 88, is the only time he had so MANY songs on the set that were hits and sang them LIVE to that extent. As for live talent there is no other contender to spring 1988! Best set list might have been June 1997 for example but we know the difference in live songs

@mjj120 I swear the man in the Mirror was May 6th in Minneapolis, 1988, not 4th the pro audio was in the moonwalk a movie. The audio that was released is a mix with amateur and pro man in the Mirror from the Moonwalker movie.
