I always say the rest of the Jacksons are very talented, but in a "normal" way. Michael Jackson is otherworldly in his talent. He's incomprehensible. Listening to him and watching him makes you feel more alive. It makes you feel connected to something bigger. There are SO few talents that illicit what Michael's does. I would argue that there are NO other talents comparable to him. Period!

Yes they are all brothers. And Michael has the most talent obviously 😊 first started as the Jackson 5 when Michael was 10/11 years. In 1975 their contract ended and they wanted to write their own songs. That’s why they went to CBS records. Jermaine staid at Motown and the youngest brother Randy ( who is singing with him in this song) came into the group. The name Jackson 5 belonged to Motown so they changed the name to The Jacksons.

They were the Jackson 5 when they were at Motown. Original members are Michael,Tito,Jermaine , Marlon and Jackie(all brothers) they became “The Jackson’s” when they signed to CBS when they got older. Jermaine stayed at Motown and their younger brother Randy joined the group

The Jackson 5 started out with Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael(oldest to youngest). When they left Motown Jermaine quit the group because he was married to Berry Gordys(Motown record executive)daughter. They had to change their name to avoid lawsuits and replaced Jermaine with their youngest brother Randy(the other person singing lead alongside Michael).

I saw this concert when I was 14 (after I'd been a cheerleader at a JV football game in L.A. right after school earlier that day; I was SO distracted that I almost fell on my face more than once because I was so looking forward to this concert lol). That thunderous (and spacy) sound at the beginning was when all of the multi-colored lights were rising up, seemingly from nowhere. It was 1981, so big screens weren't a part of concerts yet; the stage looked pretty sparse at the Forum when we filed in, so it was quite dramatic when the huge bank of lights rose up. It definitely set the stage for the spectacle we were about to witness (as people who had probably been MJ/Jackson 5/Jacksons fans from the beginning; "Thriller" wouldn't come out until a year and a couple months later.) And the Jacksons' "Triumph" album was GREAT. Michael FULLY participated even though "Off The Wall" had been an overwhelming solo success a year earlier... But after "Thriller," MJ was FULLY ready to do his own thing - which is why he wasn't "all in" on the "Victory" album (each brother seemed to make their independent contributions, and MJ didn't appear in a single video; they literally used a cardboard cutout of him in the "Torture" video - despite the fact that he was a co-lead singer on the song lol.) And he only did the "Victory" tour because his mother begged him to do it. She famously said, "You don't need your brothers, but your brothers need you." And btw, the audio doesn't actually match the video. The "Jacksons Live" album is the source of the music.

Seph I don't know if you know but there is a biopic about his life that production should start this year (unless it has already started) and I think it will come out next year. Its name is "Michael" and the producer is Graham King (the same as the film "Bohemian Rhapsody" about the life of Freddie Mercury) and the director is Antoine Fuqua. What's interesting is that the person who will play Michael is his nephew Jaafar Jackson, the son of Jermaine Jackson (Michael's brother). I can't wait to see it and hope you will react to it on the channel🔥

These are the words of Katherine Jackson, Michael's mother: "Jaafar embodies my son. It's so wonderful to see him carry on the Jackson legacy of entertainers and performers." Imo this was Michael by far at his best, later came lip syncing 😢 and to me not as raw and exciting, ive seen Michael in concert on the Dangerous tour, but if i had a choice i would go back to this time ❤

Michael never fully lipsynced he always sang along with the track, or fully live ( on human nature etc . Just songs that would be damaging to his voice he would sing along) As you can see with history tour, he also was very sick then with the lupus, laryngitis issues etc.. very sad but I feel personally he always kept the same energy🎉even in this is it through all his health issues, and years upon years of vigorous touring from childhood then on, he always gave 110% for everyone else that I admire.

@@jay-tc7we I'm sorry but he did almost all the concert lip sync, from Dangerous tour onwards, for what reason I'm not sure but it spoilt it for me, I like to hear live singing at a concert, he always had the energy in dancing, but the short times he sang live he sounded very out of breath, you can easily tell the difference, but was still enjoyable to watch, but it's the earlier days I would choose to see him in concert if I had a choice ❤️

Oh please stop. MJ had sung from age 5, and all live. So I think out of all the people he can lip sync some parts. And also he had health issues. C'mon now please think.
