My parents and grandparents loved Michael. When my brother and I were kids, and J5 were hot, and MJ was literally one of a few children that was an entertainer and on TV. We begged our parents to be able to stay up and watch the VARIETY SHOWS AND talk shows, and even when he sang Ben at the Oscars. Then exciting thing after exciting thing (like Thriller, for one). The same happened to me. I was born in 91 and my parents listened to Michael Jackson a lot and watched his videoclips on TV. I would watch too and got fascinated by his dance moves. My parents even used the Black or White vídeo to explain racism to me, when I was 3. I had a little black buddy in my kindergarden and it was the first time I'd seen a person of color, so I was a little frightened. He was the only one there and on top of it he was a bully and would hurt me. My parents showed me the vídeoclip and said: "You see Michael? He is dancing with many different people, with different skincolours. Your friend comes from a place where people have this color." I got less frightened and the next day my dad talked him into being my friend and he stop being so mean. He then kissed me in the ear to make peace (too proud to kiss on the cheek😆) and became my protector in kindergarden 😆I'm almost 30 and still adore Michael Jackson!

One of the things that made Michael Jackson so special is that he was a musical genius, his ability to bridge multiple genres of music together such as R&B, hip-hop pop country rock ‘n’ roll, and even punk rock and Bridge them into a sound like no one had ever heard before was absolutely revolutionary. I remember seeing a clip were MJ was talking to Princess Diana and since Princess Diana was going to be at his concert she asked if he was performing "Dirty Diana" and he said No because he wanted to respect her and she was like "aww no thats my favorite song" Edit: Guys I know the song wasn't meant for Princess Diana and for the ppl saying it was meant for Diana Ross u are also incorrect. The song was about a groupie. "I wrote a song called 'Dirty Diana.' It was not about Lady Diana. It was about a certain kind of girls that hang around concerts or clubs, you know, they call them groupies. I've lived with that all my life. These girls... they do everything with the band, you know, everything you could imagine." -Michael Jackson

In the history of the world, including the future, there have been & will always be many types of musical artists, MJ was his own type, never to be duplicated. This song has always been my favourite & it was hardly ever played on the radio. I'm 54 & this was my era & it was AWESOME!!! Even as he was preparing in London, right before he passed, his voice & dancing talent was still spot on & his live vocals were identical to his studio recordings...AMAZING!!!
