Michael Jackson - I Never Heard (Demo Mix)

"I Never Heard" (later renamed to "This Is It" in 2009) was written and recorded by Michael Jackson & Paul Anka in 1980 at Anka's California recording studio. The song was intended to be released as a track on Anka's "Walk a Fine Line" album in 1983, but went unfinished. It went on to be re-recorded and released by Sa-Fire for her "I Wasn't Born Yesterday" album in 1991.
In 2009 after Jackson's passing, the track was reportedly found in a box of tapes with only Jackson's voice and a piano accompaniment, having been a "bare-bone" recording.
Using the released mixes from the "This Is It" album along with Anka's 2013 "Duets" album acapella, a recreation/mix of the demo was created.
