Wow....what a touching eulogy. I wasn't like a huge MJ fan, though I could appreciate his music and I did like some of his songs; but, Brooke's eulogy brought tears to my eyes. I'd never seen it before. I was listening to Lisa Marie and I've hear his nieces and others say this so often. how he was a kid at heart. I believe what Brooke said about the arrested development. I think he was misunderstood because most people are jaded and cynical and don't have the kind heart that he had. i can say from my own experience that the time we encountered him, he was not cocky or arrogant. He was very humble and it's true , he was very shy and soft spoken. His appreciation for his fans was genuine.

The man was my favorite musician ever. A living legend. What a voice, music, and dancing. I still remember how, when I worked in a department store in the 80s and one of his songs would come on, I used to strike a pose with a leg kick and a finger point, my coworkers would laugh! I love this tribute! I would have loved to hang out with the two of them, watched movies with them ,and make each other laugh with those laughing competitions. I know how you feel Brooke, I loved him too for who he was, and not just as a performer. The three of us would have been great friends. I don't see you both as an actor and a performer, I just see you as two people who liked to have fun and laugh! If he were still here with us today, there would be "three little kids." You, Michael, and me. Sometimes whenever I see something funny on TV, or KZbin, or watch a funny episode of Family Feud, laughing so hard that I can't stop, or laugh in any other moment in life, I think, "This is a Michael, Dara, and Brooke moment!" Michael Jackson was the way he was because his father abused him and he never got to have a childhood. My favourite song of his is and always shall be "Beat It". Some of Michael's music videos Thriller. Do You Remember The Time. Ghosts. Speed Demon etc. were truly ground breaking. Michael telling visual stories around his songs. A genius. Michael had his highs and lows in life. Michael getting accused of abusing and molesting children, those disgusting accusations nearly destroyed and ruined his life. Michael Jackson had a huge heart. He cared about children. He loved life and he liked being funny. Michael Jackson's death 12 years ago was a huge loss to the world and the entertainment industry and we thank him for entertaining us and thank you, Brooke Shields, a truly beautiful person and a true friend to Michael Jackson who knew the real Michael Jackson and told the truth about him at his funeral. Brooke was truly Michael's closest friend; still today I miss MichaeL. Life just wasn't fair to Michael. I am 72 and still watch him on KZbin. Michael did so much during his short lifetime, trying to make our world a better place. He donated millions to several causes that were dear to his heart. Consider what he did for Ryan White before Ryan died. I doubt there will ever be another like him. I SURE MISS HIM AND LOVE HIM!
