I met him several times starting in October 1993. I wish I could share such blessing with all younger fans that will have to rely on footage to try having some kind of understanding of what that was. That's tragic. Any footage, as great as it can be, cannot contain his magic. No words can truly help me to transmit the amazement I still harbour. Thanks to following him around the world during all those years, I learnt so many things, and met so many people which were instrumental in changing the scope and path of my life, from a lower middle class Latin American teenager to a successful entrepreneur who travels the world. If I had never seen him on TV as a kid and become mesmerized by his genius, I wouldn't have achieved much, probably. I was the first of my whole family to attend University, to travel abroad, to speak foreign languages, etc... Stories like mine are just one of thousands of others whose lives were changed by seeing this poor neighbourhood kid, who had so much against him, use the blessing he got from Heaven to rise up where no other in his field had reached.
