Michael was always giving homage to other R&B and hip hop artists. I knew Michael personally for years. He was not a Britney Spears fan. He honestly couldn't stand her. The only reason why he allowed her to be a part of the 30th Anniversary Concert Celebration was as a favor for his friend and artist Justin Timberlake. Also Britney was popular at the time. Otherwise he was always referring her as Barbie Doll meaning she's as fake as the Doll is. She cheated on Justin and Michael lost his respect for her.
