Here is a fun fact about the 1956 Demille movie the Ten Commandments with Charleton Heston. Herb Alpert is in the 1956 remake. Yes Herb from the Tijuanna Brass and owner of A&M records. Here is what Wikileaks writes and there are interviews where he talks about this: "While attending the University of Southern California in the 1950s, he was a member of the USC Trojan Marching Band for two years. In 1956, he appeared in the uncredited role "Drummer on Mt. Sinai" in the film The Ten Commandments.[8] In 1962, he had an uncredited part in a scene in the film Mr. Hobbs Takes a Vacation where he played (and performed a solo) in a dance band."

The reason I think blogging is so great is that you get to see what "really" happens when filming. Had this been some glossy studio production we wouldn't have gotten to share our own reality and therefore identify with you of how things don't always work out and that is actually the real aspect that makes vlogs so appealing. So bottom line: mission accomplished on an outstanding six month vlog!

the Santa clause was from carpinteria .ca. it was a beautiful little Christmas town ... Oxnard .ca decided to keep the Santa when the town shut down. Santa by the Sea is a group that creates safe and fun environment for marathons and 5k runs. U were so close to my neighborhood!!!!

The Santa used to be up the 101 about 30 miles at that "Santa Clause Lane" that you saw earlier in the video. The buildings could no longer hold the weight of the Santa (and another character, a snowman) and they decided to remove them. Santa was save-able but the snowman had deteriorated too much to be saved. It was quite the event when Santa was driven down the 101 to his new home beside the freeway where you found him. He is quite the icon for our area and an object of local pride that he was saved for future generations to see and enjoy.
