About the Lean: Michael himself actually designed and patented the mechanism that would allow him and his dancers to lean forward like that without needing wires. He had a locking mechanism built in the hill of his shoes so that when it came time for the lean hooks would appear from underneath the stage and they would lock their hills in place so that they could perform the illusion. However, it took training and a hell of a strong core to pull the trick flawlessly.
@Davesmusicreactions3 жыл бұрын
Guessed it was something like that 😁... Looked great... Kev

The guy coming on stage with the stick of dynamite was a distraction to pull your attention away from Michael and his dancers hooking their shoes into the hooking mechanism in the floor
@Accidental_Awesomeness3 жыл бұрын
If you pay attention to him dancing right after wards you will also see the wire pulling up on the back of his jacket. In other performances you can actually see where he gets ready to hook it up. But its the shoes and a tiny wire for stabilization, but still requires tremendous core strength.

Me and a buddy of me talked about after the concert we couldn't really remember all because you had to keep up with the show, music, dance, message in the songs and the space Michael always gave Jennifer, Axal Al, Sugarfoot, his dancers and backgrounds singers. its the heel thing. small metal rods come up from under the stage and lock into the heels. when the move is finished they slide their feet back to slide out of the rods, and rods retract back into the stage. think of the rods as a big screw. look at your hand and turn it into a "V" shape. like the volcan hand sign. thats what the bottom of the heel looks like. slides in. slides out. the real MV used wires tho.

The way they do the lean is that Michael Jackson would have nails in the stage in a specific area of the stage for that part of the song, and would slide the heel of his shoe onto the nail and the heel of his shoe had sort of a slit in it and that’s how he’d do the lean
