I find it extremely criminal that this song was never performed for the Dangerous, HIStory and This Is It Tours (who knows since not all the songs performed for 2009 were confirmed). It would of been a show stopping performance.

I spoke with his Musical Director for the This Is It tour, and said that "Remember The Time" was one of the songs that they were playing around with interchanging into the setlist! I so fuckin wish the tour happened and he got the live performance out at least once.

I’ve always thought MJ was a shockingly underrated singer. Like yeah MJ is one of the most acclaimed artists of all time but nobody talks about how the guy had such a wide range of character to his voice had. A lot of people have used the term “vocal chameleon” to describe Scott Weiland and I think it could be applied to MJ. As great of a performer he was , his vocals have always been what stood out to me. Also it’s criminal that this wasn’t part of the dangerous world tour, this is easily in my top five MJ song and I think it was his best music video and choreography.

I always wondered why Michael had NEVER brought Remember the Time in the Dangerous Tour lineup despite being one of his most successful singles of the 90s ..and even during the HIStory World Tour despite having included it in CD1 he never interpreted it ... we are left with only this test, spectacular .. but we will never know why he did not stage it ...

Contrary to many people's beliefs that I see in the comments so far. MJ did perform this live at selected shows when the song was released. The 1993 Soul Train Music Awards being one of them, but he had an injury that had him perform the song sitting in a throne. You can find the video. The song was ultimately scratched from the Dangerous tour due to the demand of the dance sequence and his already vast line up of songs that demanded more from a live performance, as why he never did "Speed Demon" as a live performance which is a shame, one of the better songs from the Bad Album, although that is off topic.

He could easily leave "Working day and Night" out of the show, and start the second part of the show with "Remember The Time"! Just imagine...He appears on stage after the panther video, exactly as he appeared in the start, goes into remember the time (even with playback, till the moment he goes live with ..." Do you remember girl...". He dances with the dancers, and he dissappears as in the videoclip, either from where he came out, or with the chair trick he uses at the end of WDAN...And then goes into Beat it. It would be a perfect Dangerous Tour, since more songs of the Dangerous album were missing...
