The beautiful Donna Summer, this was back in the days when people were real music and movie stars. These music stars practicing this song that I remember well are some of the best of the best. Quincy Jones, Lionel Richie, Dionne Warwick, and so on were at the top of the music business back then. Real adults not like these children that are in music today that are not professional and act very childish and immature with insulting people and all. Smh It's great to see a old throw back like this from real people! God bless everyone! God bless Michael and Donna!!

So many miss MJ he was so loved such as by myself and I love this cause I watched Donna Summers Documentary on HBO Max and it’s phenomenal and I knew they got close cause they both used to go to Studio 54 and hangout etc. and recorded songs with each other I’m so glad Donna saw that MJ wasn’t what the media portrayed him as and that she saw him as a lovable, compassionate, human being. Long Live The King Of Music Michael Joseph Jackson & The Queen Of Disco Donna Summer Forever!🥹🙌🏽👑👑🤍🌟(Also I must say Kelly Rowland looks extremely like her it’s only right that she gets casted as Donna Summer when they decide to make a biopic about her she deserves immediately! Tbh)

R.I.P. Michael Jackson (August 29, 1958 - June 25, 2009) R.I.P. Donna Summer (December 31, 1948 - May 17, 2012) I never knew that they worked together on a song. I can't believe that it has been *12* years since Donna Summer died! ☹️ R.I.P. James Ingram (February 16, 1952 - January 29, 2019) R.I.P. Peggy Lipton (August 30, 1946 - May 11, 2019) They were two of the other "State of Independence" collaborators that died. I just realized that Peggy Lipton outlived *all* three of them!

Smiles are birthed through action(s) just as anything else with a definition is. Logically it is insane to expect it in situations opposite of what births it. The song can be used as a tool of concentration to get through while going through but it shouldn’t be taken literally as if it’s mandatory. Smiles are born of lightheartedness. If you say ouch and someone says smile, tell them you will after they bring you peroxide and a bandage.

This is a cover of Jon& Vangelis's version from '81. Billie Jean was born also in '81, there are demos to prove this. When Quincy sued the Estate after MJ,s death, one of the Estate,s lawyers, Weizmann brought also the demos of Billie Jean, WBSS, Beat it, Don't stop, and was obvious how minimal was Jones input and changes on these songs. So no, this cover from 1982 was not an inspiration for the iconic Billie Jean

The amount of work to make her bass line sound like Billie Jean. I mean when you have to slow it down and start explaining….its not the same. “Well if you slow it down and change this note and this note and and move this note ahead and this one back”……it’s a totally different original bass line. And to top it off MJ told Hall and Oats their song was the inspiration and hope they didn’t mind. Even though sounded nothing alike MJ thought enough to tell them. People stretching with the Billie Jean song.
