At 1:35-37 before he says "and then a begger boy called my name"...it sounds like he hesitates, stumbles or almost comes in to early...anyone else hear that? Or it could be a a clip of a vocal from another track in the song. Who knows, it's just cool hearing this all stripped down like this and being able to hear everything he was doing in the vocal booth...from the finger snaps, foot taps, all the hiccups, grunts and beat boxing to the rhythm. Love it. This is my favorite MJ ballad too :-) mainly because his creative process is highlighted in the composition. he always says he starts with a beat box and uses it as the foundation for the song then builds around it, this feels like he focused around the main rhythm being his beat boxing, with a few strings, guitars, an 808 kick, and pianos tweaked around to fit. so I feel like I'm hearing a song that is entirely coming from Mike. Not from a studio. Which if you get REALLY deep, he's living lonely, so even the composition is all him haha
