When DJ Vlad informs the action film star that Tyrese attempted to enlist the public support of civil rights leaders such as Martin Luther King III and Benjamin Crump to protest child support laws after he was ordered to pay $10,000 per month to Samantha. As the interview moves along, Michael states that $10k per month sounds reasonable for a man who co-stars in the "Fast & Furious" franchise. I have my son 99% of the time. I’m also raising his half sister who isn’t my kid (I’m not just gonna leave her in a messed up situation and I raised her from her birth). Im still paying child support for my son. Court doesn’t care that I have him living with me 99% of the time. I don’t get child support for my little girl because she’s not mine. It is what it is. I only have less than two years left of child support payments. Courts need to be more fair. While I’ve never been late on a payment, best believe there have been times when I just wanted my ex to disappear. She literally does nothing productive with her time, and doesn’t spend any of tue money on her kids, because they’re with me.

Child support should not solely be based on your income. But also common sense. Even if you Make 1 million dollars per year, a child does not need $10k a month to live. $3k, maybe. There’s kids that are good and get $1k a month. The kid does not need to live the same lifestyle as the father, a grown man. I think that’s what Tyrese is protesting….extreme child support laws that hurt men.

Okay. I enjoyed this discussion and I think everyone has a valid point. I think MJW was fair in his statements. Tyrese however dug a hole for himself because he's real cocky at times and brags about how his movies have brought in $2billion in sales. He does this consistently. Kudos to him he's one of the all time R&B greats and he's a decent actor. But now when it's comes to child support. You don't want the amounts to be considered as part of the amount used to determine your payments? Unfortunately that's not gone happen. 😢😢😢 Just my opinion.

Tyrese called on them because he said the judge called his ex wife the B word. It had nothing to do with child support. He said even though they are going through this situation that was unprofessional on the judge. I notice Vlad does this alot.
