Problem I had with this era in the 90s.letting a guy like Mike get to all his spots without any resistance is how he always got in rythm.kobe had to fight to get to his spots that’s y he struggled with his field percentage. if he was able to get to his spots so easily like mike he would have shot a better percentage than mike by far

Jordan had to fight for his spots even more than Kobe did; the Warriors' defense isn't one to base the entire league off of at that time.
@deshawnman37902 ай бұрын
There not letting him get to his spots you honestly believe there just letting him shoot, this is there profession they play for a living. MJ was literally the most athletic player in that era speed wise and vertically. Most people could not keep up with him, so they don’t play him to close he’ll blow right past them. Kobe was just not athletically gifted as MJ and he took bad shots. Look at Ja morant right now, nobody dares to play him to close because he’s quick af and has a vertical like Mj. So imagine ja morant athleticism but being 6’6 with a Kevin Durant level midrange jumper, and Shaq hands. That’s MJ.
@jarvasedundy12 ай бұрын
Clown Jordan did that in the 80's/90s/00s. Jordan was just a gifted offensive player. He made it look that easy 😂😂
@cyber6sapien2 ай бұрын
@@deshawnman3790 Facts. Kobe talked about this himself. There's a video clip of Kobe talking about the first time he guarded Mike on the perimeter. Kobe said MJ spun and went baseline for the layup. Kobe said he knew the move was coming (since he studied Mike's game so much). But it happened so quickly that Kobe didn't even have time to react. Bear in mind this would have been in 1996, which was Kobe's rookie season. Kobe at that time was 18 years old. And he couldn't move as quickly as a 34 year old Jordan.
