Agreed. MJ is definitely overrated. He didn't have to compete with the super teams and it was good timing because Magic was infected by HIV when he was still in his prime and Bird was on his way out because Magic was no longer around to compete against. The only team that was a good match was Hakeem's Rockets but unfortunately MJ was out playing baseball. All those teams MJ beat including the Lakers 1991 thru 1993 had NO ALL-STAR CALIBER CENTERS and again same old story from 96-98 Seattle had a solid team but again no all-star center..Utah had a good team too but again I'm HAMMERING over the head no ALL-STAR CENTER again. I know the argument always comes up that he beat up on Patrick Ewing but he is NO Akeem Alajuwon sorry. Also the Pistons figured out a way to physically play MJ but after they won back to back the year after that they didn't care anymore so I don't count that series as the Bulls being a much better team then years past. The competition level sucumbed big time. You get arguments all the time from Lakers fan especially Magic Johnson jockers that he retired too soon...I'm a big Lakers fan and Magic fan too so I know to a lot of folks out there I might sound crazy but yes Jason yes I do agree with you.
