Watching MJ in any playoff game is insane, he always took it to another level. And if you watched him in reg season, you would think it's almost impossible to play any better. Really amazing and a treat to watch

This guy never choked in the Finals. He led the oldest team with an injured Pippen, internal conflict, and lowest scoring cast to victory. And he led them against a stacked Jazz team. Bulls were the underdog. He wasn't the greatest just because of ability, but overcoming near impossible odds. He went 626 games without losing 3 in a row. The odds of doing this are 0.0000000166%.

Best showing in a finals by far, never choked, dominated, clutch. Greatest of all time! He said in fourth quarter of game 6: “keep ya head, we’re in the finals, everybody get it together”. GOAT mentality!
@KyprosEc11 ай бұрын
This is his best showing in a finals for sure. He was at the absolute peak of his career and that Suns team was clearly better. Averaging 41 in the Finals while dominating defensively as well is Godly

Yep. People who didn’t live through that era will never know what it felt like. MJ had gravity. You could feel it when the Bulls were in town. I’ve never seen anything like it before or since. The respect that the league had for him was insane.

The finals against the Suns give us an indication of what Jordan would do in this current era because that team played a lot of small ball. The difference is that handchecking was still legal and Jordan still averaged 41. I honestly think MJ would average 45-50 if he was in his prime in this current era if he wanted to. The lane is wide open and there's no handchecking?!! Good grief he could score every time he touched the ball.

Just think of it this way...the Bulls and the Suns both scored a total of 640 points in the series. If MJ had averaged in the Finals what he averaged in the regular season (32.6 ppg), the Bulls lose that series. That's almost a 9 ppg difference.

@userjlj11 ай бұрын
it is his greatest scoring wise but his best was the 98 IMO.. less points but he almost singlehandedly brought home that chip against two of the best players of the NBA in their respective positions and gave us that classic MJ never give up mentality and had 45(with 3 successive game changing plays) points to clinch the series with pippen having a bad back..

Threes are boring. Should change the rules. Best I can think of - and this sounds a bit dumb - but change 3s to 2.5s. Sounds dumb, but removes the incentive - plus, remembering 3s themselves weren't even a thing until late '70s (or early '80s; thereabouts).
