Sprints are extremely important, my high school coach lived by them, ten or fifteen suicides or Deep-6's over the two hours of practice, and after the season was over when the new freshmen came in, we had SO much more acceleration and speed than they did, WITH THE BALL I could have five feet on any one of them by the end of the court, and thats an easy layup.

Well he admits he ate junk when he was younger (college to late 80s). He had a super hero/freak athletic body that could take it. Tim Grover changed his diet and workout routine to keep him from getting injured in late 80s.

3 meals a day. If you said that to a modern day nutritionist they would go in a rant about how we need 5 meals a day, and we need to monitor our steak 'n' taters consumption and ensure we limit our pancake intake to only 2 per week. I now feel I am justified sleeping 10 hours a day and eating pancakes every morning.
@chavez349
@chavez349 6 ай бұрын
He burned an extraordinary amount of calories each day that he can eat pancakes and steak. Pancakes and steaks are actually better when you’re burning that many calories because most healthy meals are low in calories so it wouldn’t help him recover unless he ate more. Steak is extremely underrated when it comes to nutritious food for athletes. I’m all for it.

@timbo830 science gather data until enough evidence claims a scientific fact. those theories in quantum mechanics brought your computers, satellites, telecommunications and internet. But it's just a theory you say? at the moment, we keep ripping and harnessing benefits from phenomenon or phenomenons we observed that we currently have no full grasp of it's explanations. It revolves around facts yet we don't claim it as facts. instead of assuming things without tests and claim it as fact.

@Mailme81 theories work. the cmb, the discovery of dark energy and dark matter. they were still labeled theory but it's a study that has 95% proof. it's not just this simpleton mj who talks this at night and then it's over. we test what we know. he doesn't test anything by being gifted and not training as an average. average should listen to other average but had done it and got to pro levels. most of them are 6'5" 6'6" no problem for them. what about for average athletes? It will not be same.
