Michael dominated both ends of the court, forcing the action with his defense leading to offense. He's levels ahead of anyone I've seen and I've been watching the NBA since 1984

I've been watching NBA since late sixties. Jordan probably best all-round guard. Offensively; Magic, Stockton, Curry, Nash, and Irving have higher avg. points generated (scoring + assists) per 36 minutes played. Defensively; Kobe, Gary Payton, and Jordan all have 9 all defensive first-team selections. But to say he was levels ahead of everyone might be a stretch.

In November 1988, MJ did something really special, he dropped 52 points to go with his ridiculous 9 steals (8 in the 1st half) and 2 blocked shots as the Bulls beat Larry Bird and the Boston Celtics in Boston Garden...another G.O.A.T. moment of which there are many...great reaction video! if you haven't already seen it, there's a video that talks about something MJ did that took about 8 years to accomplish....it's something that will NEVER be surpassed in this lifetime....👽💯💥✌🐐

MJ was arguably the best mid range shooter of all time. Check out goat season’s 96 through 98. He perfected the post fade in his last 3 seasons at Chicago. He was also shooting around 42% from beyond the arc in those seasons. I was a very lucky kid. My mom worked at the Charlotte colosseum, and I got to see the goat play the Hornets almost every time the Bulls came to Charlotte.

No. Jordan shot 51.0% from 2pt range, which ties him with Chris Paul. Here are percentages for a few other guards: Doncic - 55.7% Magic & Stockton - 54.1% Curry - 52.3% Nash - 51.8% Reggie Miller - 51.6% Irving - 51.3%

@@ron88303 Unfortunately you can’t really count MJ’s 94-95 3pt average. He only played around 17 games that season. I doubt he would’ve maintained a 50.0% average through a whole season. That being said, he’s still the goat and doesn’t get enough credit for his 3pt game.

The fact that Michael Jordan and a select group of college athletes beat NBA all-stars before he ever played a regular season game is crazy and mind you not once but 8 times over a course of the summer before the NBA draft! Bird, Magic, Isiah etc etc all got toasted. This is one of the reasons MJ got so much hate from established NBA vets from the start of his career"The Word was Out" from the beginning that this dude could be the GOAT.

Thanks for checking that out. Magic was my favorite player but I can admit Jordan is the Goat. The first to have 200 steals and 100 blocks in a season. And did it multiple times while averaging over 30 per game. Pippen did it too. People forget that the Bulls were a defensive team. Especially with Rodman and Ron Harper. They were loaded. Check out "Red Assault" Jordan, Pippen, Rodman. ....Salute..

I've watched God knows how many reactions to this video and it completely blows my mind how nobody says anything about Jordan having 9 steals in a single game and it was against the Celtics who was littered with Hall Of Fame players in their lineup!!! 9 steals in a single game is gawd level defense and these reactors just let that stat just slide by like that type of individual defense happens every game

TV wasn't that bad back in the late 80's and 90's, a lot of what you are seeing are bad VCR recordings, or decayed vcr tapes. Biggest issue w/watching sports back in the day was the small screens. 30 inch tv was big back in the day, I think I grew up w/14-20 at my dads.

Bro the television visibility back then wasn't HD like now but the picture was still clean.. These clips are blurry because they're recorded on VHS Video Tapes, but as far as watching live games there wasn't any problems picture clarity wise..

Imagine trying to study tape this quality. Older players didn’t have the luxury of watching games in 4k and with the capability to zoom in and slow down tape. Being able to watch any game any time is such an advantage the past didn’t have.

A lot of people think this is the actual quality we saw on TV back in the day, that's not accurate. A lot of these videos have poor quality because they are just recorded by regular people on VHS tapes, by the time they were transferred to KZbin the tapes were old which ruins the quality. The types might have been old and previously used before they even recorded these games. Point is, unless you just had bad reception we were watching in higher quality than what you are seeing on KZbin. Obviously not 4K or close to it in the 80's but you could see everything fine. For reference, if you can't read the name on the back of the jersey the quality is way lower than what we actually had.

@@ron88303 He had the best mid range game because he mastered the fade away, had best footwork for a guard, had variety of post moves, and elevated higher than anyone. This is why he's 6-0 with 10 scoring titles. Does any of the players you listed have any of these?

Then there is sæhis famous passing. MJ and Bird had better passing game than him.
