For context, Mutombo was a 7ft 2 guy who was notorious for blocking shots/dunks and would do the finger wag (there's even a SportsCenter ad around it lol) so that's what Jordan did after dunking on him. One of my fav Jordan plays was ironically at the freethrow line trolling Mutombo, shooting with his eyes closed lol.

It doesn’t matter if the coaches tell their players not to let MJ get the ball at the end of games. Everybody in the universe knows he’s going to get the ball, and everybody in the universe knows that he’s going to make the shot and win the game. His last shot to win his sixth championship is a prime example. Pictures of that moment show the Utah fans with looks of absolute fear, horror, and despair when MJ had the ball with seconds left in the game. They all knew it was going in and that there was nothing anybody could do to stop it from happening.

No athlete played their sport at a higher level than jordan did in basketball. He is what perfection looks like. He was just unfair. He had the most god given talents. He was really fast and he ran a 4.3 i believe. His vertical is 48 inches which is the record. Huge hands which is big for basketball. To top it off he had a insane work ethic. Worked harder then everyone else. Played harder then everyone else. Wanted to win more then anyone else.

If you want to get a kind of head to head comparison, Dr. J. was the first to do the dunk from the foul line in a dunking contest. Jordan did it later. Watch them both and see how much easier it was for Dr. J. to do it, and how that he was higher on the jump. They were the same height. BTW, when was Jordan's vertical ever measured? Sheesh. I can't believe the Lakers picked Bronny James just so he can play with his dad. He only averaged 4.8ppg this year on 37% shooting. Nobody was gonna draft him they didn't have to waste a pick on him. Lebron certainly has a lot of sway with front office decision making. I know he had a heart attack because of a heart disease that went undetected, so he was recovering for a long time, but even in high school he got accolades that he didn't deserve because of his name. It's gonna be interesting to see if he goes to the G-league or makes the roster, because the new coach JJ Reddick is also the co-host of a podcast with Lebron...that could get awkward.

No disrespect to the young fellow but he's unequivocally wrong about Lebron over Jordan. Michael Jordan's superior offensive & defensive prowess alone makes him the greatest of all time. Also, the overwhelming majority of NBA players, public polls, and basketball experts all say that Michael Jordan is the G.O.A.T. Michael Jordan is not only the greatest offensive player the games has ever seen with the highest career scoring average in NBA history, he's arguably the greatest defensive player in NBA history who also happens to boast the highest playoff winning percentage in NBA history in conjunction with the most buzzer-beaters in NBA history. Next time tell that young fellow to do his homework and stop the nonsense. Michael Jordan is simply the G.O.A.T.

This guy just revoked his NBA card by saying LeBron is better than MJ.. this guy wasn't even born when MJ last played . He never saw him in real time he never experienced MJ and the NBA in real time back when the league was physical.. that's why there so many European players in the league today because the league made a conscience decision to take the physicality of the sport out of the game.. don't believe me? Look at the NBA back then. There were hardly ANY foreign-born players back in the league comparatively speaking, and they were sure as hell weren't dominating... you had a few that made a mark in the game, but mostly, foreign players seldom made it in the NBA back in the 90s.. they had to change the game to make it more globally inclusive.. I know these are 2 different topics that I've stated. I just saw an opportunity to shoot some facts... but MJ is and always will be goated
