I remember the Texas series 2011 when the Yankees had a 2 nothing lead and Kay proclaimed the series was over. Eventually Texas went on to beat the Yankees and Texas went on to the WS but lo1st to St. Louis

Clay Holmes dos not do well in high leverage situations. He can not pitch with men on base, has had that problem all season. Also, outside Torres, Soto, Stanton, and now Judge, no one else on the team has hit, same problem as in the regular season. If the Yankees do not hit a home-run, they rarely score, they do not play good defense, do not play sound fundamental baseball, do not advance runners or put bat on ball. Holmes not throwing to get the out at 3rd was a real bad decision, a brain fart, choked under the pressure.
